The building occupies only about half or a third of the lot, so there is plenty of space to extend it. It is fully lit, decorated and furnished with all skill-building and need-filling objects.

This house was built with only the base game, contains no custom content and was packaged with my Downloads folder removed, so you can be sure of a clean download and a house that works on any EP or none at all.

This compact and elegant brick house features an eye-catching extension on the 2nd floor that will make it stand out amongst its neighbours. Furnished with a couple or single child family in mind, this home will be a chic yet cosy retreat for your Sims.

Climb up the short flight of wrought-iron front stairs and unlock the glass-fronted Victorian-style door - but don't forget to turn off the burglar alarm on the porch first!

The living room is dark mahogany parquet paired with wainscoted teal walls and classic furniture that'll never go out of style. Your Sims can enjoy a quiet evening reading or playing chess here - or perhaps they'd prefer to entertain at the bar, over which hangs a large plasma TV.

Right next to the bar a door leads outside, where a small lap pool awaits. The sparkling water, deep green tiles and lights are beautiful at night. Hedges surround the pool area for privacy and security, with a low gate facilitating seamless Sim movement around the lot.

In the living room, a double archway in the French style leads to the kitchen and dining area, which is entirely covered in durable yet stylish stained concrete. The walls are stuccoed in a luxurious soft gold. Ample counter space overlooks the street. Enough space is set aside for the dining area to be easily navigable for Sims. From the kitchen and dining area, a door leads outside to the side yard, where there is space for a driveway or a garden - or whatever your Sims may want.

The first floor features two bathrooms, each attached to either room and floored with patterned beige tiles. The walls are matching powder blue with wainscoting and both bathrooms have toilets, showers and sinks.

Modular stairs at the back of the living room lead to a landing on the second floor, bordered with slim balusters in medium wood and overlooking the living area on the first floor. This creates a large stairwell from the first floor to the high roofs of the building, lending the house an airy and open feel despite the small land area of the building. The spacious stair landing is large enough to contain a desk and various other knickknacks. At one end are doors to the master suite and smaller bedroom.

Sims entering the master bedroom will find themselves in a small corridor that serves as a dressing area. The sleeping area is roomy and filled with natural light in the daytime. This bedroom has an adjoining his-and-hers bathroom that working Sim couples will be grateful for on busy mornings. The smaller bedroom, just big enough for a double bed, is a simple, cheery space at the front of the house. Its en-suite bathroom is smaller but still fully-equipped.

A second flight of stairs leads further up to the attic, which is high for a loft. The loft is furnished as a hobby area, where your Sims can exercise, paint, read, play the piano, or just relax with some good tunes on the stereo.

The house is fully furnished and decorated with exquisite attention to detail, but there's still ample space left for those personality quirks that every Sim has. So move your Sims in today and let them start making it their own!
