The Chalet Jeannot is a large starter affordable for 1 sims as it is under 16 000.
Of course it is furnished really poorly (with less than 1000§) But it is large enougth to become a 4 to 6 sims home.
There are many easy ways to improve it with 2 existing bathrooms, large free place in the livable basement and the large terrasse where you can build.
I use livable basement for this starter as it is cheaper than walls (1146/2530 for a 9*9 livable square building). Right side is ready to be used as front with only terrain paint slight changes.
