This mod fixes various problems with Mrs. CrumpleBottom (introduced in Nightlife and Seasons).

This mod requires at least one of these packs: Nightlife, Seasons.
Romance check fixes:
  • Mrs. CrumpleBottom can recognize when Sims perform a romantic interaction and smack them with her purse.
    This feature stopped working in Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff.
  • Mrs. CrumpleBottom can no longer predict when Sims are going about to perform a romantic interaction.
    In an unmodded game, she could smack a Sim who was just on their way to interact with another Sim.
  • If a Sim rejects a romantic interaction, Mrs. CrumpleBottom can only smack the Sim who initiated it, not the one who rejected it.
Smacking with the purse interaction fixes:
  • If Mrs. CrumpleBottom decides to smack a Sim, that Sim's interaction queue is no longer cleared.
  • The smacking interaction is now categorized as mean.
    Social interaction categories determine the behavior of Sims who are interacting and those who are observing.
    In an unmodded game, this interaction is not categorized unless you have Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden Stuff installed. However, not everyone has these packs.
  • If Sims are on a date or outing and Mrs. CrumpleBottom smacks one of them, the date/outing score decreases drastically, as intended.
    In an unmodded game, it has almost no effect because it's wrongly interpreted as another event.
  • If someone other than Mrs. CrumpleBottom smacks a Sim with a purse, the purse will disappear at the end of the interaction instead of getting stuck.
    In an unmodded game, this interaction should never be performed by any other Sim. However, it may be possible with mods.
Other fixes:
  • Mrs. CrumpleBottom can no longer lecture a Sim for being naked or wearing underwear or swimwear:
    • if that Sim is in a different room
    • or if that Sim is performing an interaction.
    In an unmodded game, the interaction check didn't work correctly and the room check wasn't present at all. As a result, Mrs. CrumpleBottom could interrupt a Sim who was showering, for example.
  • Mrs. CrumpleBottom can now recognize up to 8 selectable Sims that she has smacked with her purse – so she can avoid smacking them again until she or your Sims leave the lot they are on.
    In an unmodded game, she could only recognize 4 of them due to a coding mistake, even though she could remember 8.

  • romance check fixes,
  • date/outing smacking penalty fix,
  • memory fix.
Additionally, the conflicting mod assigns an incorrect social category to the smacking interaction if you have Apartment Life or Mansion & Garden Stuff installed.
