this is an alternative approach to creaturefixes biting changes, plus some goodies you might like
this mod can also help you with a situation where your Grand Vampires might get stuck Bleh-ing and not biting anymore

Mod's Effect
this mod lets Grand Vampires' preserve their distinctive behaviour of trying to bite Sims whose relationship with is very high, and adds checks to prevent them from choosing certain NPCs after Biting Frenzy has started
it prevents them from wasting a loop or causing issues choosing universal NPCs, service NPCs, hobby mavens and garden club members (since they need to be available during the day too)
since, currently, there's no limit on how many Sims they can turn, this mod also makes them less likely to bite to balance this (leaving space for the rest of their scripted behaviour) and allows more Sims to be turned by playables, it also has an optional text notification that pop-ups when a Grand Vampire is about to bite a Sim
now they can co-exist and do normal Sim things too instead of biting like there's no tomorrow (they're immortal, you know)
they'll turn someone once in a while but you always have the Matchmaker and the High Witch to buy a cure in case you don't want the "gift"



Context
have you noticed how the original bite is tied to a platonic feeling storytelling-wise? just imagine it:

you're an immortal being who's been feeling lonely for centuries... and suddenly some Sim gains your trust and makes your lifeless heart beat again
now you would like to share the gift of immortality with them and be together for eternity
this gives you the courage to start a new era where beings like you won't hide under rocks anymore

I love this
the relationship requirement, names like "true love" and "kiss of the vampire" in the game files make sense now, I should have noticed how they literally do a kiss face when biting a Sim
