Update 11.03.2026 - The shaft's cost now is only 10 Simoleons (10 times cheaper than before)

Ever since Late Night came out, EA has never bothered to fix the annoying bug that prevents the elevator shaft from snapping inside a shaft wall segment. Instead, it always tries to place it on half tiles, outside the place it is supposed to get into.
We all have spent way too much time trying to properly connect two elevators with a shaft, and you know exactly how frustrating and nerve-wracking this can be.



This override mod fixes that problem by allowing the elevator shaft to snap properly between shaft wall segment right away, without more fighting on with it's buggy placement by default.



What's changed?
The mod alters the OBJD file related to the elevator shaft, changing some of the wall placement parameters that won't let it to snap properly inside shaft space and thus connect two separated elevators successfully.

Compatibility:
This mod was build and compatible with patch 1.67 (game patch 1.67 update, available at MTS from this page).
Of course, Late Night is required (patch 6.5.1 update recommended, available at MTS from this page).
