Tired of the unnatural bluish and oversaturated colors of the original Italian cypress tree? This default replacement mod gives the tree more realistic look, by desaturating and toning down the brightness of both the trunk and leaves. It's a subtle change, but it will make your in-game landscapes less stressful visually!

What's Changed?
  • The tree trunk and leaves have been reworked to provide a more realistic appearance, according to the real life Mediterranian cypress tree.

The pictures were taken in Sunset Valley, which uses the shadows and lighting effects from the base game. In other worlds, it may look completely different — in Bridgeport, for example, it might appear even more desaturated than it does now.

This mod automatically replaces the default Italian cypress tree in your game, both small and large, so there's no need to manually re-place anything! Just make sure to clear out your thumbnail and cache files, and you’ll see the updated tree in no time. (Don’t worry if the thumbnail doesn't change much – the real beauty is in the game!)
