Cowplant Worship Chapel

I needed a simple chapel for my sims weddings.

Firstly I wanted to build small but tall church so it would look nice from the neighborhood view. Then I realised I don't want to build another gothic, victorian thing in my career. This time I wanted to try something different.

I started to dig up the web in searching for chapels or churches in the middle of the big cities and I found something I want to recreate! And since I wanted to place it in the Downtown neighborhood which reminds me of a place of many cultures and different sims so the different themed temple would fit right in there!

And that's how this little moroccan chapel was created. Making it's story about the Cowplant was pretty easy because when I put the murals on the front of the building the story appeared in my mind explaining the style and location of the place.

Of course this lot was meant to be smaller, but when I figured out the main chapel placement and interior I saw that there is no bathroom or changing room. So I made the lot little bigger and placed a second building in the back in the same style as the main one. Somehow I like the toilet more than the actual chapel 😂

And there you have it!
A nice little moroccan chapel with the little Cowplant story involved for your sims to have place to get married.
As I wrote earlier I wanted to place this lot in the Downtown and here is my idea of placing it in the neighborhood:



Lot description in English:

"This little moroccan style chapel is the best place in the city to get married. Everyone is welcome here! It was found by the worshipers of this forgotten, exotic plant found on the other end of the world. Worshipers were scared of the powers of this plant but knew what blessing it could give so they build this chapel here to celebrate life."

"Ta kaplica w marokańskim stylu to najlepsze miejsce w mieście na zawarcie przysięgi małżeńskiej. Wszyscy są tu mile widziani! Została wzniesiona przez wyznawców zapomnianej, egzotycznej rośliny występującej na drugim końcu świata. Czciciele bali się jej mocy, ale wiedzieli także, jakie błogosławieństwo może ona dać. Zbudowali na jej cześć tę kaplicę aby celebrować życie."

(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftable Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.
