"This Island Earth" Ryberg Electronics Corp. Interocitor
interocitor01.jpg - width=440 height=502
Anyone familiar with either the 1950s classic science fiction movie "This Island Earth" or the spoof "Mystery Science Theatre 3000 Presents: This Island Earth" will recognize this device at once: It's the "Interocitor" Dr. Meecham had to build to proof his abilities and we found out later, that it was nothing more than an oversized visual telephone. :D
I am a really big fan of the MST3K spoof and so I decided to build an Interocitor for The Sims 2.
The mesh and the textures are by me, I have created them after references I found on the internet. This is by no means a 100% correct replica, but it comes very close, I think. The vertexcount is 1624 and the polycount is 2307.
This is by all means a completed object and works very well as a decorative gizmo. Maybe I will code some funny functions into this, but since I do not know when I will find the time for that, I decided to release it in it's current "decorative only" state. I am sure, it will spice up the life of some sims and players a little...

I think it will even look great in full color in a b&w Retroville Neigborhood... :D
Have fun! :howdy:
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
