Testers Wanted: Minimalist CAS Screen

Just a little something I've always wanted and finally got around to making. This CAS screen is meant to be as simple and nondescript as possible - bland, boring, and blending into the background, a blank canvas without anything competing for your attention.

For creators, it's meant to be a nice simple backdrop so you can show off your creations (if you're the type to take CAS screenshots of your work) without a busy background to distract from what you've made, as well as very neutral so it doesn't fool the eye colour-wise.

I have done my best to hide all the lighting under un-hacked zoom levels while still creating adequate lighting to see what you're doing. The main sim creation screen is a little bit dimmer, having removed the window and added more subtle lighting further away, while the family screen (the one that collects your sim family as you make them) has been lightened up a bit with additional hidden lighting.

This was created using Numenor's BaseGameStarter using only the base game - therefore, it should work for everyone. But... it's my first CAS screen, so do let me know if you have any trouble.

To Install: Place the CAS!.package file in your My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\ folder.

Required Content: In order to get the truly blank look like I have, without the rotating platform, mirror, pictures, backdrop screen, etc., you will need to download and install the following items from Windkeeper's Blank CAS set:
  • wind_CASinvisibleroundpodium.zip
  • wind_CASinvisibleobjects_nomirror.zip
  • wind_CASinvisibleobjects_familypart.zip
