Chateau en Miniature - OFB Starter

This is a bargain not to be missed - history and comfort at a price anyone can afford! Move your family to the south of France for the holidays, and relax in your own private chateau.

The seigneurial lands have long since been sold off, but this favourite country residence is still in the family. Size can be deceiving - this mini-chateau boasts three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and central living space, behind cheerfully shuttered windows and a half-timbered facade. The pretty blue shutters formed the inspiration for the decorator, with blue tones complemented by woods and whites.

The towered facade is impressive, but the house was never meant for defence, with large windows and comfortable appointments everywhere. The main floor contains a kitchen and dining area, compact but sufficient. A utility corner houses the water-closet, thankfully with modern plumbing, as well as a rear exit and the stone staircase tucked into the wall. The tower on this floor is dedicated to the loungeroom.

Upstairs, the tower bedroom is large enough for a double bed, and there is also a tiny bathroom and a second bedroom or study. Each bedroom has private access to the balcony.

The cellar has been converted, to house a master suite with private bathroom. This space is presently unfurnished.

Basic furnishings for three are included in the sale price. Don't miss this amazing bargain!

Notes for players:

Yes, I know it looks like my Cotswold cottage - same house, with new deco and an extra level. I liked the design, and saw its possibilities as a castle.

The 1x1 custom lot leaves little space for gardening, so there are only a couple of plastic rosebushes to look after. Watch out for the ditch.
All furnishings are Maxis. Build items are credited below.
The house has been playtested. (There is room for the oven door to open! And the upstairs bathroom is fully accessible.)

The animations for Marvine's stairs won't package with the lot, so a separate file is included in the rar.
