You will need the pose player (updated 5-1-12 or later) to use these poses! Without this version, these poses WILL NOT WORK.

The "Airs Above the Ground" are a series of advanced dressage maneuvers where the horse is required to leave the ground. Though they are no longer used in competition, they are taught and performed by riding academies such as the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and the Cadre Noir in Saumur.

This pose pack contains 9 poses and is compatible with the list function of the pose player.

UPDATES:
  • 30-Mar-15 : The pose list has been updated so that the pose codes show up in the 'Name' field (per numerous requests.) No other changes have been made to the poses.



Pose Names / Descriptions:

ah_k2_pesade_01 : controlled "rear" at 45 degrees with forelegs tucked in.
ah_k2_levade_01 : controlled "rear" at 30 degrees with forelegs tucked in.
ah_k2_mezair_01 : rearing up and striking forward with the forelegs.
ah_k2_courbette_01 : an upward "hopping" movement with forelegs tucked in.
ah_k2_croupade_01 : forelegs remain on the ground, hind legs fully extended in a "buck".
ah_k2_ballotade_01 : an upward, horizontal leap with both fore and rear legs tucked in.
ah_k2_capriole_01: an upward, horizontal leap with forelegs tucked in, rear legs extended.
ah_k2_spanishwalk_01 : high-stepping gait, foreleg curved
ah_k2_spanishwalk_02 : high-stepping gait, foreleg fully extended
