Luxury Apartments

I'm not a fan of most apartments that came with apartment life, and although there's plenty great ones to download, I wanted something that was similar to the apartment buildings I've seen in my life. I took the features I liked from each, and combined them into this building.

The key focus is the public roof top area, where your Sims can barbecue, work out, play chess, paint, or just soak up the sun while the kids play in the playground. Additionally, it has a bar, a hot-tub, and a sauna, as well as a restroom and showers. I also wanted the lobby to be inviting and nice to come home to each day.

Lot size is 3x4, and it holds 12 apartments, with four different layouts. Two large, eight medium (two slightly different types, four each) and two small.

The prices vary slightly between apartments, so I'll note down the range.
Large apartments cost 3933-4138 in rent, and 68,456-73,159 to purchase if you rent it fully furnished. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms.
Medium apartments cost 2947-3029 in rent, and 40,997-46,177 to purchase if you rent it fully furnished. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms.
Small apartments cost 1691-1693 in rent, and 25,954-26,183 to purchase if you rent it fully furnished. Sleeping alcove, one bathroom.

I've used minimal amounts of custom content, as I find it annoying when people include loads of things. The lot has:
- Three wallpapers (I wanted the lobby/hallways to be nice, and Maxis had nothing that I liked) INCLUDED!
- One wooden floor (same as above) INCLUDED!
- One-tile desk versions of Maxis desks (Great for saving space, and something I think most people would find use for in any lot) INCLUDED!
- White recolor of Ektorp 2-tile sofa (Maxis should have added it themselves. Also something I think most people would want to have)
Out of these, the only ones that are required are the desks (if you don't get them, you need to edit the lot and remove them as they are replaced by two tile desks that would go through the wall). The rest you can skip if you'd like, but you'd have to add your own wallpapers and floors to the lobby and hallways.

I want to apologize for the lot requiring all expansions and stuff packs. I would have loved to use Any game starter, but I can't due to the game versions I have not being compatible with the program.

All apartment types have been play-tested for minimum 3 days, medium/small with pets and roomies, and large with kids and pets. I had no problems getting to car-pool/bus in time, and I didn't come across any problems. Some of the toilets would be better swapping things around, but I wanted this to be compatible with having pets, and that layout was necessary to give dogs a bath.

If you want to rent these apartments fully furnished, you either need to use a boolprop cheat, or download a mod. I recommend using Pescado's hack over at MATY .

I used Numenor's SEP-mod to place kitchen appliances in corners. If you would like to be able to do so as well, you need the mod. You do not need the mod for this lot to work, you will be able to use everything regardless.
