UPDATE! While testing I failed to notice that the things I had to do to get shelves, toothbrush, toothpaste and face wash to go invisible are not being registered as a recolor, but as default replacements which means those items will be invisible with all recolors. There appears to be no way around this. I am trying to find another solution for those who do not want that.

Do you like your Sims brushing their teeth and washing their face? Are you sick and tired of seeing the same old medicine cabinet in every bathroom because of it? Well I certainly am, so I decided to take action.

This is an invisible recolor of Unreflected Pride Medicine Cabinet, from AL. It's the matte version without a mirror. If you place it above a sink your Sims will get the interactions "Brush Teeth" and "Wash Face" when clicking on the sink, but the cabinet itself won't be visible. You could also click the cabinet, but since it's invisible it's hard to know where to click. The idea is that you can use whatever mirror/cabinet you want, and still get the interactions.

Downsides
The animations are unchanged so your Sim will still act as if it's opening the cabinet, and taking out toothbrush/face wash. In order to make this invisible, I had to also make the toothbrush, toothpaste and face wash invisible. The object they use in the animation is the one placed in the cabinet, so if I hadn't made them invisible, you would have had items floating in the air.

The recolor in catalog may not appear to be invisible, but it will be when you select it.

Worth knowing
Since this is a recolor, you'll still have to pay for the medicine cabinet. If you want a separate invisible version that costs 0, you can find that here by Sunni Design. That one does not add the option to the sink below in my game, which is why I made my own recolor instead.

Bonus
As a bonus to this, I am including a creation from my livejournal that re-categorizes the medicine cabinets to mirror category. EA has them in Decorations/Misc, but I can never find them when I want them so I moved them to mirrors.
