Tired of the default map tags? This mod offers the perfect solution! It replaces the original shiny, 3D bubble style with a sleek, minimalistic flat design. I was never a fan of the original tags, and if you feel the same, you’ll love how clean and simple the new design looks.
Additionally, there is included redesign on some of the map icons and other little details.

Nraas Taggers is required to see all of the needed tags on map! Although you can't see the Sim tags from other households.

Release Notes:
  • Modern Map Tags V1 - The original minimalistic map tag redisign

  • Modern Map Tags V2 - This version is made to copy the exact style of the icons from earlier game patches

  • Modern Map Tags V1 and V2 (Default UI) - These versions change the colors of the China related icon fixes to match the default blue UI. Huge thanks to TheBleedingWoodland for these fixes!

Compatibility:
The mod is compatible with patch 1.67, but it should work on patch 1.69 as well. It contains icons from other EP's , but that doesn't change base game compatibility.

Conflicts:
This mod will not conflict with anything unless you have something that replaces the exact same texture files.
However, some custom UI mods, like simstate's Blackout UI, include these resources and will interfere with my mod . If you'd like to keep using custom UI mods, I recommend merging their UI with mine. This will ensure that any overlapping resources are replaced by the ones in my mod, keeping everything without any conflicts.
