Sorry this update took so long. I had the same problem a lot of you are having and it seems to have mostly been a Firefox and .RAR bug. I wanted to test this maid thoroughly before I posted it.

Fixes in this release

Improved error handling.... kinda, nothing specific
Program can be closed, without using Task Manager, after encountering an error
Individual user settings are saved, not global (also fixes all users have same download directory)
Fixed the maid extracting "0" files (blame my husband for that one!!)
Better .RAR handling

Program may not startup - End Task in task manager and try again until I get to the root of the problem
Program has to be restarted if an error is encountered
Directory Monitoring may not work when downloading files from FireFox
