Wanmami Island Neighbourhood Terrain from The Sims Castaway Stories

Hi Everyone,

I don't believe this has been done before, so here is a SC4 terrain recreation of Wanmami Island from The Sims Castaway Stories.

The version with roads has several areas for flat lot placement, and SEVEN+ different shorelines for beach placement.



It is a great island hood for normal play, especially if you would like lots of small separate hamlets on the island.

Due to Castaway hoods being 4x as large as TS2 hoods - in addition to getting plenty of placeable beach lots - getting the detail on the the mountains and coastlines was a challenge, but the end result is a pretty close ringer if you ask me.

For the ultimate castaway experience, it is designed for use with Mootilda's HoodReplace to swap in the Road terrain for the Blank one. Please refer to advice on the upload page for the LotAdjuster on how to make the lots themselves roadless.

For those with less patience, look into a replacement road texture - there's many out there, LordCrump's Paraiso en las Rocas's "Paraiso Collection" comes with a very handsome one, and the whole collection is great for a total conversion Castaway game.

Camera Mod: Highly Recommended. The Northwestern and Southern Beaches are hard to view without one. Use GunMod's if you want, I personally have Tom Duhamel's Enhanced Gameplay Cameras installed.

Topp's Felicity Island - a major inspiration to just go and make this terrain.
Paraiso en el Mar and Paraiso En Las Rocas by LordCrumps - two absolutely breathtaking hoods. The Paraiso Collection in itself is an outstanding compilation.
