Important thing to note before we begin!

This lot was inhabited. I've checked it with everything I could and it seemed to be ok. I personally downloaded inhabited lots multiple times before and it never caused me any problems, but considering how little this game needs to get corrutped - you can never know. So please proceed only if you're 100% confident!

Hello and welcome!

Yet another build from my Questionable Renovations project (this one is from the fifth eposide... Yes I know I skipped the fourth house, but I do hope to upload it someday too. For now it's grounded for being naughty and refusing to function properly).

Now this specific house is a bit special, because originally it was built for a machinima, that was supposed to take place inside this build only (classic "isolated trope") and concidering how much time I've spent on it and the amount of CC I used I was super proud of the result.

Years later I decided to get rid of all the CC that served no use to me anymore, then I dug out this house again and... It looked like this:



A total mess. Of course it had to be renovated.

So what's the lore?
Long, long time ago a well known surgeon has built this little mansion to live there with his lovely wife, who was a seamstress. But then a mysterious tragedy took place and the house was abandoned. None of the later owners stayed there for long, claiming the mansion is cursed... But it didn't stop a bunch of enthusiasts to move in lately and renovate the place a little bit.

The insides are classics: a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a musical room with a bar and a grand piano, an office, where the original owners used to work in, a bedroom and three bathrooms (one of which is empty, more on that later).
There's also an extension, which used to have a pool (let's say it was added by one of the owners and had to be removed because idk, maybe it was unrepairable (the truth is that it wasn't even functional so what's the purpose?) and now was turned into whatever you want it to be. A gym? A hangout spot? A gaming room? You name it.
Under the extension there is a wine cellar, which was originally located under the pool, but was lifted and, aside from that, it is the only room in the house that remained untouched by the renovators.

Now going back to the empty bathroom: you can see on one of the screenshots that it used to have a couple of career rewards in it, but I had to remove them since these things can get a little bit... tricky (tho you can easily bring them back with the UnlockCareerRewards cheat or any similar mod). A well can also be seen in the backyard, which was also removed for the sake of keeping the house CC free since I used the Byable Wishing Well (which I actually recommend to bring back because it just makes things prettier).

I also yet again highly recommend to have a rug fix. My game is still trying desperately to include it into the lot file and that's a no-no.
