When I was a child during the 1940's and 1950's, Florida was mostly agricultural with many ranches. This is the type of home that would have been built for ranch hand's as usually their home was part of the salary (which wasn't much). The homes were generally small and built out of whatever reclaimed materials and wood available and then whitewashed to make them look decent. Many times the home included a chicken house and a fenced area for a small garden so the hand's family wouldn't starve on his meager salary. I used Businesses and Hobbies for this build. Enjoy.
