A warm modern family retreat created for the #MadsAFShell challenge

WELCOME TO GOLDEN GROVE RETREAT

Golden Grove Retreat is my take on the #MadsAFShell challenge!

I transformed the original shell into a bright and warm modern family home filled with natural wood tones, orange accents, large windows and plenty of greenery.

The goal was to create something modern without making it feel cold or minimal. Instead, I wanted the entire house to feel colorful, comfortable and lived-in while still keeping a clean contemporary style.

The landscaping became a huge part of this build, with layered stairs, rocks, flowers and dense planting surrounding the house and making it feel like its own little retreat.

  • Large windows and lots of natural light
  • Multiple balconies and outdoor terraces

OUTDOOR LIVING

The outside of this house is probably one of my favorite parts of the build.

The home is surrounded by lush landscaping with rocks, flowers, shrubs and trees, while the backyard includes plenty of spaces for Sims to relax and spend time together.

THE #MADSAFSHELL CHALLENGE

This build started as a shell for the #MadsAFShell challenge.

I kept the original shell as the foundation and completely transformed it through the interior design, landscaping and outdoor spaces.

It was a really fun challenge because the unusual shape pushed me to experiment with the layout and create something different from my usual builds.
