No chasing tables to drop bills on

There have already been several mods and self-made workarounds trying to tackle the issue of sims grabbing mailed bills and then going on a tour of the property, looking for the fabled Holy Grail coffee table or end table, maybe at the third floor of their house, to drop the bills on.

This is my take: a global mod, affecting any combination of malboxes and tables, Maxis or custom:

The $&%ç°§ bills will go on the ground, next to the mailbox. Done deal.


Exception

If you, like me, love windkeeper's mailbox cover with the shelf, this mod already includes an exception for it: if present, sims will drop the bills on the shelf.

So in those really infuriating cases when a sim does stuff like this:



at least the bills will go on the ground, and not on a tour around the house.
