2 Fledgling Flats (modern base-game no-CC starter)

Fledgling Flats is a new street of 1-story modern starter homes. Each home was designed by a first-year student entering the Landgraab Academy of Design and the teachers assure us that these houses are very livable. The substantial savings on architecture fees have been passed on directly to you.

This simple prairie-style home has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on a 2x1 lot with all skills and some extras: computer, tv, and stereo. The low price of $19,486 ensures that even sims who are first starting out will have some money left over. Fully-furnished for two; the second bedroom with ensuite is left unfurnished. The foyer has double entry doors and there are also double doors into the master suite. Lighted inside and out. Tastefully decorated in muted tones, but there's plenty of time left to choose your color scheme before move-in day.

Nicely spacious for a small lot; this starter home may suit you for the rest of your life. The master ensuite has additional room for a sink and shower-tub upgrade. The spare bedroom provides plenty of room for a nursery, a bedroom with twin beds, or a hobby room, and you can upgrade to double doors for better traffic flow. There is even room on the lot for a future 1-car driveway. This is a wonderful home for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, for this amount of money we were unable to supply any landscaping, except for the newly planted lawn. The parkland behind each lot is for sale, which means that you can use the LotAdjuster to expand this lot at the back, if you require additional space.

The cost of this modern roof was kept low by using only one small section enclosed by walls, with crown molding to provide interest, and by using inexpensive fencing to heighten the remainder of the flat roof.

This lot was created using the shrinking feature of the LotAdjuster to ensure maximum use of available space. The fence which runs along the edge of the lot was added after shrinking, to ensure that this lot is safe.
