This is a default replacement mod, which overrides the date palm tree from Island Paradise. For me it looks cartoonish and unrealistic, so I went through and did some altering.

As this is a DDS replacer, it will not conflict with anything unless you have something that replaces the exact same texture files. As such, it is compatible with all versions of the game, will not need updating for EPs/patches.

After download, place it in Mods/Packages or Mods/Overrides folder, usually located in C:/Users/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3. To be shown in game, you should delete the cache files, generated after every game.
