Third lot on the Central Park Makeover Series list, Central Park Avenue!

I have to admit, I did struggle a bit in deciding a good layout for this lot. Since I wanted to keep the West park and the East park the same size (4X5) and the Boulevard (which is actually the first lot I made for this series) was on a 5x5, the only size that would fit perfectly within the remaining space was a 5x6. At first I wanted to add a grand fountain just like the Boulevard, but then it ended up looking weird so I scrapped that idea and divided it into 6 plots. But of course, since I wanted to put a bowling alley here and the plots weren't big enough, I decided to divide it into 5 plots instead. So you have 2 bigger plots and 3 smaller plots.

Mods used:

- Shiftable Everything - Move Any Object Up and Down by Lamare. I use this mod a lot in this build, but it's not necessary to have it since it would still keep all the stuff in place even if you don't have it in your system.

Okay, so let's start with the pet shop, The Barkery.

It's just a simple, goofy little building. From the top, it looks like a bone, and the roof has a pattern that resembles the face of a dog. The exterior and interior are in this nice light blue color, and the shop is filled with all of your pets' wants and needs. I kept it pretty simple, and I think the design would work nicely for your starter OFB lots!

Next, Diamond Dreams Casino.

Well, Casino is a bit of a stretch here. It's just some poker tables and a pool table, but it's still classy! This build has 2 floors. The first one is where the pool table and the bar is plus some seating area. Then after walking up the grand staircase to the second floor, you have four poker tables, surrounded with fancy art stuff. Honestly, this building is perfect for a gentlemen's club.

Next, The Beauty Parlour.

The salon only has 1 floor that's divided into two spaces: the styling area with 3 styling chairs, and 2 office rooms for some plastic surgery consultations. I know that your sim could operate the plastic surgery machine by themselves because it is a career reward item, but I wish there was a version where an NPC needs to operate it for your sim, just like the styling chairs. It would add a bit more realism to the lot I suppose.

Next, we have Immortal Zen Spa & Sauna.

This is probably my favorite build in the lot. It feels more private and serene with all of the bamboo trees surrounding the building. The setting is definitely perfect for a spa and sauna spot in the middle of a busy city. Outside of the build, you have the zen garden in front and the hot spring at the back. Inside, on the first floor you have the tea ceremony table, the mahjong table, and a seating area. I think of it as the waiting area before you get your treatments. On the second floor, you have 2 massage tables, 2 sauna rooms, and a changing area, so your sim wouldn't walk around the lot in just a swimsuit.

Lastly, we have QuickSilver Bowling & Arcade.

I don't know why but I struggled with this build the most. It went through like 4 different style changes before I settle on this one. I wanted the build to look understated but flashy at the same time, so on the outside it's mostly grey with hints of pink, but once you've entered the building it's all purple and neon with disco lights and starry night ceilings. It feels like a cool place to hangout, more than the club in the Central Park Boulevard in my opinion. On the first floor you have 5 bowling alleys with 2 seating areas, a bar, and 5 TVs overhead. We can pretend that those would display the scoreboards On the second floor you have the arcade area and a little outdoor space for playing Myshuno.

The entire lot doesn't have any restaurant or a bbq spot but it does have two vending machines right outside the bowling place, and the tea in the spa and sauna place fills the hunger up surprisingly well. If you want to have a dining space in this lot just like the Central Park Boulevard, I would suggest renovating the casino. Get rid of the grand staircase, put in an elevator, make the second floor a full floor, and turn half of the floor into a buffet area! I like my grand staircase though so that's why I made it this way. Plus if my sim is hungry, I would actually take them to the lot next door, which is Central Park - East, the last lot in the series!

I hope you enjoy this lot! See you at Central Park - East!
