This mod allows you to create and share new services within the game.

Below is a very modern video demonstrating the capability of the mod

For a more thorough list of what you can do, you can specify the following for services:
  • Internal name
  • Display name
  • Phone call feedback for requesting and cancelling the service
  • Service properties
  • Hours worked
  • Wage
  • Valid age and gender ranges that NPCs of the service can be
  • Motives (you can include motives of other services to inherit their autonomous interactions)
  • Explicit traits (i.e., the traits that every NPC of the service has)
  • Possible traits (i.e., the traits that an NPC of the service might have, picked at random when specifying the possible trait count)
  • Hidden traits
  • Skills (and their levels)
  • Autonomous interactions
  • User-directed social interactions
  • Service uniform (for each age and gender)
  • Service car (can be set by clicking on any car and then selecting Expanded Household Staff... -> Assign Car to Service)
  • Inventory items (i.e., what every NPC of the service spawns with; you can add an item to the inventory of a service by clicking on the item and then selecting Expanded Household Staff... -> Add As Inventory Item for Service)

You can also import and export services. Exported service collections will show up in the Library folder and can be imported from that folder. You can share an exported service collection with other players for them to import by telling them to put it in their Library folder.

Two premade services have been included (housemaid and nanny) to demonstrate the power of the mod. To add these to your savegame, they'll need to be added to the Library folder and then imported.

All interactions are available from every mailbox.

Below is a list of people who helped with this project either directly or indirectly (as well as their contributions):
  • zoe22 (Helped with replacing the phone call interaction; she was also originally a partner for this project but I got carried away and gave her little to do (sorry! ), but she continued to give me motivation to make the mod)
  • LazyDuchess (Allowed me to borrow a method from Mono Patcher)
  • Twallan (Started the NRaas project, whose code for the dialog menus and importing and exporting settings I borrowed)
  • Arro (Made TS3BuildTool, which, in conjunction with my command-line tools, allowed me to build and test the mod without having to use S3PE)
  • desiree101 (Only person to actually test the mod thoroughly other than myself)
  • murkoose (Provided the Russian translations)
