This is a departure of architecture for me as the home is so large and modeled after colonial manor houses from the internet. The home has no electric lights, T.V. or computer in keeping with the period. It does have quasi Ben Franklin Stoves for heating in the bedrooms. I of course could not completely omit the kitchen appliances or baths but tried to make them look as period as possible. The home has a full bath on the 2nd floor and a powder room on the first floor (baths were available, just not the type of plumbing we have now and many times outhouses.) There is a pond and a garden that has some vegetables, fruits and herbs as well as garden plants as well as a pretend maze. The property also has an animal pen in back of the carriage house. I hope you like this home. I used Businesses and Hobbies as well as the Storybook Nursery Kit in the build. Enjoy.
