Basic appliances included: lights, toilet (expensive), sink, bathtub, fridge, kitchen sink, trashcan, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has a toaster oven, TV, chess set, exercise machine, and a dresser. There's enough room to add a carport.

Expandability: Perhaps a basement, other than that it's not really made to be expanded.


Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, use Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.
