This house was built by my father's brother in the late 1950's or early 1960's. I have a very good recollection of the layout because I thought it was a marvel at the time and was over there quite a bit to see my cousins, so it was built from memory. The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I couldn't build the fireplace exactly as it was (there was only one fireplace between the living room and Den but it was open to both rooms). The floors in the kitchen and on the deck are terrazzo which was quite popular at the time. His home was right on a pond. Instead of the pond I put in a pool to look as much like a pond as I can. As for the furniture I couldn't remember that exactly because it didn't interest me (I was interested in architecture even as a small child). I know my cousins room was girly so I did that and made the rest of the furniture modern. I used the Cozy Kitsch Kit, Riviera Retreat Kit, Modern Luxe Kit and the Courtyard Oasis Kit. Enjoy.
