Yes, we have already met, anyway I think we have? We rode up in the elevator together right? asked Brandy.
"Yes, it was me," replied Anna shyly.
"Now if you will just hold out your hand Dustin, Mr.Lottery asked him, I will scan your DNA, it wont hurt to much," he said with a grin.
That Mr.Lottery was such a kidder.
Dustin held out his hand and heard a high pitch sound for a moment as Mr.Lottery waved the device over his hand. Then the small machine beeped and turned light blue for a moment.
"Ah we have a match," Skip Broke is indeed your father.
Next he moved over to Brandy who seemed hesitant to let him scan her hand , she rubbed them protectively over her pregnant belly.
"Have no fear Mrs.Broke, this device will not harm your unborn child, it only tastes your blood quickly." Mr.Lottery said with a small tender smile.
"Oh, OK Brandy said with a little hesitation and held out her hand to be scanned .
Mr.Lottery scanned her hand,she also heard a high pitched sound for a moment as the small device tasted her blood as Mr.Lottery had said.
Then the device turned red followed by a short burst of light blue.
"Good, the red light agrees that you are indeed Mrs.Brandy Broke and the blue light tells us that your babies father is Skip Broke."

"Well that is good news, laughed Brandy.
"Now Mr.Lottery could you please tell my son and I why your niece is green.?"
"Ah , I thought you could see her differently. That is part of Anna's talent , she only reveals her true appearance when she truly trust's someone or in our case is really attracted to someone, and by that I mean your son Dustin here.
"Ok, but why does she turn green?" Brandy persisted.
"Please forgive me if I seem evasive. It is not my intention. But the truth is , Anna is not entirely human. She is half Vanootian. Her father is human and her mother is from the peaceful planet Vanoota. She has the ability to change her appearance from human to Vanootian. It is a very admirable talent.
"That is amazing, agreed Brandy, finding herself very grateful that she was sitting down.
"I was not aware that there even was a Vanoonta," Brandy continued.

"Mom, I think this is what Mr.Grinch on the telephone meant when he said that our perception and understanding of the world is going to change Drastically."
Dustin personally had no problem with Anna being green, he was totally infatuated with her and was in no way uninterested just because of a little thing like her being green and only half human.
Brandy seemed to inhale deeply for a moment and just kind of absorbed things, and when she exhaled she found that she actually was very ok with it . And was not suprised at all for some reason.

"Well, if everyone one is ready, here is your key," said Mr. Lottery and he handed Brandy a very simple looking tiny skeleton key, but when she looked at it a little more closely she could see that there were tiny lights moving around in it. Like how the glitter moves around inside of a snow globe when shaken.
"Your box number is F 921, if you will follow Anna she will show you the way."
"Thank you , Mr.Lottery for all of your ahhh help," Brandy said as she tried to pry herself from the chair unsuccessfully.
Mr.Lottery was close by and quickly held out a hand to help her up. When Brandy touched Mr.Lottery's hand it felt warm and comforting, and he effortlessly helped her up. Mr. Lottery works out.
"You are welcome Mrs. Broke , I hope to see you again. He smiled at her and looked in the direction of Dustin and Anna who were looking at eachother intently.
"Now remember once the box is open , remove your contents and leave right away, only view the contents in the privacy of your home with the windows shut , doors locked and curtains drawn. It is very very impotant that you do everthing I say.
He put his hand on Brandy's shoulder gentley as he said this last bit to her.
It reinforced it to Brandy and Dustin how important it was for them to do exactly as he instructed.
"Now if you will follow Anna, she will show you the way."

"Follow me ," said Anna.
Dustin did not have to be asked twice."This place is much bigger than it looks," Brandy commented after a long walk down a main corridor followed by a few turns.
"Yes, it would be easy to get lost in here even with a map," agreed Dustin.
Finally Anna stopped in front of a mail box marked F921, the other boxes surrounding it were not marked in any way, you could not see a key hole on any sort on the others either.
"Here you are, just use your key. Once you have the contents, please be sure and check carefully that nothing else is inside, your key will only open this lock one time. When you are finished, I will lead you back to the elevator," and then she stepped around the corner to give them some privacy.
"Ok mom, lets do this."
"Here we go," Brandy said as she put the key into the locked box. It seemed to stick at first, almost like the key hole was tasting the key and then they heard a lock pop and the door to the box opened.
When the door opened Brandy got a huge smile on her face for a moment she thought she could smell the scent of her husbands aftershave.
There inside the now unlocked box was a very plane almost tattered looking brief case.
Dustin grabbed a hold of the handle and took it out. Then he gave a look around inside of the box to make sure there was nothing else inside. It was empty , he looked twice and felt with his hand also all around inside of the Post Office Box.
"Ok mom , I don't see or feel anything else in there, should I close it?"
"If you are sure we have it all, yes," said Brandy.
Dustin reached out and closed the Post Office Box door, they both watched intently as it made a loud and final latching sound. Then the key that was still stuck in the lock,just disappeared.
"Yeah, I think I am ready to go home now ," said Brandy sounding tired and wierded out from the day.
Dustin peeked around the corner at Anna who made his day when she smiled at him and told her that they were ready to go.
They followed Anna back out through the maze of unmarked post office boxes and soon found themselves back at the elevator.

Dustin once again stepped into the elevator; feeling dreadful at the thought of losing touch with Anna.
But much to Dustin's delight once again Anna who had changed back to her human form joined them in the elevator. He had 5 floors to get her ph #.
