The Brandy Broke Story, Part 23

Welcome Back.



"Hi Brandy, how are you today? Dr. Brooks asked me to come and
speak with you, and help you with signing some forms that will be
difficult. Are you comfortable with that?" Dr.Kile asked.



"Yes doctor, I am glad that it is you,not a stranger. I would prefer
to just sign the release papers now for my baby that .... that did not
make it."
Dr.Kile produced the paper work and showed her where to sign. The
procedure of cremation would happen the following night. The infant's
body was being held in the hospitals morgue.




After signing all the papers, and reassuring the doctor that she was
OK, he finally left and Brandy was able to call her mom.



"Hi Mom, how is it going?" Brandy chatted a long time with her mom,
spoke with Beau on the phone, and had a few laughs.




Then it was just time to say good night, and Brandy hung up the phone,
pleased to know that her mom and dad were there with Dustin and Beau.




But after she hung up the phone, she found herself so very, very
lonely. She had felt this feeling before, right after the births of her
first children. She had shared her body all of these months with two
other people.




'One that was dead and she would never see!' her mind told her.




And then her emotions just went haywire! And she had every right
to lose it for a moment.



At first Brandy tried to hold it in...



All the sorrow and weirdness that she had endured just suddenly landed
on her.



"I want my baby!!" Brandy screamed at no one.




"God help me!!" she pleaded. Its not fair!!!!!!! she sobbed.



"It's gonna be okay, you're going to make it through this," Nurse Gretchen
told her.
