The Brandy Broke Story , Part 25
January 17, 2012

Welcome back.
Sorry this has taken me so long to write, but I wanted to
get it right. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading.

The sharp, final "click" of the crib woke Brandy up and reminded
her that she now had a new baby, and also that she had lost a baby.

She had many strange dreams in that couple of hours that she had slept after
signing the papers. She dreamed of house plants that seemed to grow and
grow, even though they had not been given water or sunlight. She also dreamed
of glowing boxes in closets hidden close by, and of floating in space among the
stars. Brandy was very happy to wake up from the dream.

"It was just a dream," the nurse assured Brandy, as she took Brandy's
vitals. Then she checked her feet for swelling. "Look's like someone
gets to go home with a new baby in the morning! "

"Really? Do you think I will get to go home in the morning?"
"Doctor says if you and your baby maintain your vitals, you're
good to go and you might not even have to stay for breakfast,"
the nurse joked.

"Hi Mom, .. uh-huh. Thank you mom for lending Dustin your car. I look
forward to seeing him and Beau. I miss my little guy."
"He misses you too honey; he has been talking non-stop about a rose." Brandy's mom told her with a bit of concern in her voice.
"He is probably just excited about his new baby brother," said Brandy.
"Love you too Mom, see you in the morning. I cant wait to go home. Bye."

As soon as Brandy hung up the phone, something almost expected happened
to Brandy. Beau, her two year old son was talking to her in her mind; she
could sense him.
"Mommy, you come now, come with Beau", he kept
saying to her. Then Dustin burst through the door.
"Mom, we have to go! Beau has vanished again, and he has not reappeared
like he usually does, but I think I know where he is at," Dustin gasped.

"Let's hurry, he is already near the hallway." said Brandy.
"You see it too?" Dustin asked his mother.
"Yes, I see it too, Brandy answered.
"Lets go!" said Dustin, he pointed to the wheel chair for his mother
to ride in. And as fast as you can push a wheel chair through a hospital
at top speed, they went in search of Beau.

They soon found themselves outside a older wing of the hospital, the
Morgue, where they keep all of the dead people that die in the hospital
before they get taken to the mortician, and then to the grave.
When they found Beau, he was crying just outside the sliding doors
that enter the building. "Rose, Mommy, you have to come and see Rose!"

"Beau, wait for Mommy and Brother," Brandy said, as she tried to
convince Beau to wait for her to pick him up and settle him down.

But Beau would not have it, and quickly transported himself inside the
building. Past the sliding doors before Brandy could get to him.
"Mommy, Bubby, you come." he waved to them.

Brandy and Dustin quickly followed Beau down the long, curved hallway.

"Have you seen Brandy Broke recently?", Nurse Gretchen asked. "No, but I
just changed little one's diaper. He was not happy about that wet
diaper. "Well, that's odd that she would just leave the baby," said
Nurse Gretchen. "I am going to have a look around and see if anyone has
seen her. I just have a wierd feeling." "Ok, I will take little one here,
and put him in the nursery by the nurse's station, so I can keep a eye
on him." "Sounds good, see you in a few." said Nurse Gretchen as she
headed out on her search for Brandy.

Meanwhile, in the morgue, something strange was happening. A portal had
been opened up, and a creature from another dimension was coming
through.

Sandsoom, was from a dimension of Earth in which the people lived in such
harmony with nature, that the humans there had become a sort of
'Tree People', who's specialty was growing things.

"Greetings Sandsoom," said Prince Valdir. I have been waiting here for
thirty days; I am so glad that you have found me."
"Your Highness, your father is very worried about you. We had no idea
what location you had gone to. We were all relieved when we noticed that
you did not go to the Volcano Dimension. As you know, our people cannot
survive there."
"This planet is not so very different from ours," said Prince Valdir.
"The people are a bit primitive, but they seem to have love for one
another."

"Love is everywhere in the Universe. It is the strongest of all forces
in any and all dimensions," said his loyal and caring Royal
Guard, Sandsoom. "I am glad that you have survived here, Your Highness,
now we must go; your father is eagerly awaiting your return." Prince
Valdir looked up at his Royal Guard,
"Sandsoom, I have something I would like to do, before we go. I need
to right a wrong." Sandsoom looked at his young Prince.
"Your Highness, we really should return promptly. Everyone is worried
and we don't want anyone to detect this portal; as you said the people
here are very primitive and they are not ready for such travels. Are you
sure this is necessary?"

"Yes Sandsoom, it is very important. I think it will haunt me in my
memories for the rest of my life if I do not at least try to make
amends," said Prince Valdir. He then went on to tell Sandsoom what
happened when he first accidentally arrived a month ago.

"Very well, what is it that you propose to do to make things right?"
"This is a place where they keep their dead", Prince Valdir said somberly
almost childlike. "Most here have died of natural causes, but one it seems, one did
not grow properly and has died before it was born. The mother is very
upset about it."

"Oh yes, I see her now. Such a little thing," Sandsoon said as he sensed
the tiny corpse in the morgue.

"Are you sure this is what you want to do Your Highness? Your father may
not approve."
"Yes, I am sure. I will answer to father and accept the consequences."
"Very Well, let us begin by asking the Great Creator if he will grant us
our request."

Sandsoon began his prayers that all of his people knew. The entire
population of his dimension shared the Eternal Glory of communicating
directly with the 'True One Grand Creator of Everything.'

Prince Valdir and Sandsoon his royal guard went together to prayer.
"Mighty Creator," they spoke with one mind. "We humbly ask for the life
and health of this young one. You alone control life and death, we ask
your blessing on this young one, that you bless her with health and
create within her a seed of Knowledge and Wisdom of Plants and Life
through you, Grand Creator."

"We praise you Grand Creator, for the life of this child, thank you Merciful Creator."

Then it happened - a branch shot up though the center of the cold metal
slab in the morgue that the dead, deformed baby lay on. The new red/green
shoot of a rose bush. Roses were a sacred symbol of life, blessings and
health in their home.

"Praise the Creator! He has blessed the child with life!"

"Give thanks to the Merciful Creator; by Your will we were created, by
Your will, we live!"

Then Sandsoom and Prince Valdir broke out into a Praise song; it sounded
like the wind when it blows it's strength through the tops of tall pine
trees, on a lovely summer day.

The room was all aglow with the growing rose bush, the sound of the
praise song, and the smell of the rose's pleasant and intoxicating scent.

" Your Highness, someone is coming," announced Sandsoom, as he prayed
with the young Prince and watched the deformed corpse of the infant girl
grow and start to breath. "You go and deal with the child's family while I
finish the prayers of Exaltation for this precious life the Grand
Creator has mercifully chosen to give Life and Health to."

Prince Valiant praised the Creator once more, and then turned just in
time to see Beau appear outside the sliding glass doors to the lab.

Beau was so excited as he neared the doors, he ran as fast as his
toddler legs would take him.He had known about Prince Valdir since
yesterday. Beau knew Prince Valdir had peeked in the window of his
mother's hospital room when his mother was crying about his baby sister,
who was born dead. Beau was physically connected to his mother and
always knew what was going on with her.

Beau heard his mother Brandy and Dustin quickly approaching. He started
to giggle as small children do when the game of chase is getting
good. He suddenly disappeared and reappeared right in front of Prince
Valdir, who picked him up and gave him a hug. Beau knew that Prince
Valdir was different, but also that he was good and had nothing to fear of
this plant person from another dimension. While he was holding Beau,
Prince Valdir was able to see that other people were looking for Beau
than just his mother. Other people were coming too.

"What shall we do Sandsoom? The child's mother and her doctors are close
behind her", he told the praying Royal Guard. The room of the morgue was a
sight to see, at that moment it was full of the presence of the Grand
Creator and His will was being done . The room glowed and smelled of
sweet roses, the rushing sound of the wind in tree's emanated from the
lips of Sandsoom as he praised the Grand Creator for his gift of Life to
this dimension and tiny female Child. That is when Brandy and Dustin
burst into the room in hot pursuit of Beau. They abruptly stopped as
they realized the beauty of the room and the strange creatures who were
next to Beau. Beau communicated telepathically with Brandy and Dustin
what was happening in the room and to not be afraid.

(Sorry folks I am out of time. I will come back later to post the rest of this chapter. Its kinda long and I have to go to bed.)
