Welcome Back.

Brandy tended to her newborn twin son Skip then lay down
and took a nap herself.

Later baby Rose (Skip’s twin sister) made the tiniest of peeps
and Brandy heard her mother Coral come into the room.
"Go back to sleep dear," she said gently to Brandy.

Brandy heard her mother giving Rose kisses and allowed herself
to drift off back into a deep sleep.

"Grandma has you, yes I do you little sweety."

4 hours later Brandy woke up from her nap.

"I feel much better now. Where is mom?"

"I think she is outside looking at your flowers. She is upset
about a lot of things that happened during our captivity." explained
Brandy's father Herb.

"Dad, I i'll go and talk to her. Will you please put the pot on?
You will find a nice selection of tea in the cupboard next to the
fridge. I like chamomile, I would suggest that for mom to."

"Should I add a drop of the good stuff?" Herb asked
with a smile. "No dad, better to bring the bottle.
You will find some good Cognac in the wine cabinet." Brandy winked at her father.

Brandy found her mother in the small flower garden. Coral
was nearly to tears and very depressed. Brandy comforted her
mother and offered her the tea that her father brought out for
them a few moments later. Coral had some tea and also 4 good
shots of Cognac. Brandy could not remember a time when she
witnessed her mother drink more than a glass of wine.

After a long talk Coral hugged her daughter closely. "I thought I
would never see you again,"
Coral said in a cracked whisper. From there
they went inside. Coral was feeling all warm and fuzzy now.

Once again they all sat down at the kitchen table.

"OK dad time to finish the story," Brandy said as she sat down to
her own bowl of reheated chili from lunch.

Dustin was about to burst out and say. "Alright Grandpa! Lets hear
the rest of the story!"

But he took one look at his grandmother and found himself silent.
Herb was also silent.

"Dad, it's OK, mom and I had a long talk and she wants us to know
everything that happened.
"Is that true Coral?" Grandpa asked his wife.
He received a faint smile and nod of her head in agreement.

"Sheeta was the one that really saved us." Grandpa Herb quickly
drew everyone back into the jungle.

"Sheeta is a incredible child of the forest. I am not even really sure what
she is, except that she is a part of the forest.

And by using her wonderful mind.

"She came up with a brilliant plan that saved our lives."
"Sheeta did this for us all in the hopes of love," Grandpa Herb
directed his eyes at Coral. He received a slight sigh from her and
he continued his story.

Back at the Gotta Boogy Tribe.

When I returned after meeting Sheeta that day.

The Queen decided to pay me a visit.

She had eaten many wild oranges and had only one thing on her mind.

"Fulfill the Prophesy!"

She peaked through the bars at the one who was fortold to father her son.

He is rather cute for a older man she thought to herself as she got closer.

Queen Hepsha had a way of just appearing, and was suddenly in the
prison cell with me,"Grandpa explained.
"I tried to hop out of bed but she was on me like stink on skunk."

"Conceive a male child with me white man caught by the Sacred Falls,
"Queen Hepsha said.
"How is my wife Coral doing today?" Herb asked, trying to distract the
excited Queen.
"She is alive and well Herb, she is a slave but she is still here." Queen
Hepsha reassured him.

"Once I give birth to our male child then you and your wife
can go free. All you have to do is get me pregnant with a male child.
I think tonight would be a very good night to try, don't you think Herb?
Hepsha asked seductively. The "Strong Man" tea Herb had been given
earlier was having its effects. Herb could hardly control himself as the
perfumed scent of the Queen drove him wild with passion.

"You must promise that I can see my wife Coral alive and well at first light," Herb tried to demand.

"But of course," said the Queen, alive and well in the morning," she
agreed and dove in for a kiss."

One that lasted all night.

And the Queen finally became pregnant.

Word spread quickly of the Queens prophetic pregnancy. Sheeta
stayed close, unnoticed and always let Herb know she was there
during the next long 8 months. Herb told Coral about Sheeta but
she did not seem to believe him. Something was different about
Coral. She was a slave and humiliated. She was heart broken.
She knew her husband had no choice in the matter but she was
still very jealous, the work was exhausting and wearing her out.

During the Queen's pregnancy, Coral and I were permitted to meet
every other night outside of Coral's tent. I finally managed to convince
Coral about the existence of Sheeta. Though I worried a bit as I had
not heard from Sheeta in over three weeks. The Queen was due to have
the baby very soon now and we would rather not be around if the child
was born a girl or anything that would cause Coral and I to be sacrificed
to the great Volcano god.

One night when I was instructed to tend the garden late into the evening

My young guard Himba suddenly got a very bad stomach ache.
"Ewwwwwwwww!" he groaned loudly.

The kind of stomach ache that doubles you over in pain.
"Herb I will be right back," the young warrior said in anguish and
he ran for the bushes on the far side of the garden.

Herb laughed to himself and continued his work. Then he heard the
quick call of Sheeta. He tried to stay calm lest he draw attention even
though his guard was busy in the bushes and unlikely to notice anything
but the business he was tending to.

"Sheeta?' Grandpa Herb said ever so lightly and returned the small
melody that Sheeta had taught him.
"I am so pleased you remembered," said Sheeta and mysteriously
appeared out of the dark jungle.
"Sheeta, it is you, I am so happy you have not forgotten us." said Grandpa
politely.

"No, I did not forget you, silly old man. I had to travel a long way,
my plan for your escape needed supplies and connections.

"Soon Queen Hepsha will give birth, the village will celebrate.
A diversion will happen sometime soon. You do know what a diversion
is don't you Herb?" Sheeta asked with a tone of innocence that edged
close to mockery.

"Yes, Sheeta, thank you, I do know what a diversion is."

"When you experience this diversion, you and your wife run to toward the wild orchard. I will be waiting and take you to safety."

"Thank you Sheeta. I will tell Coral as soon as I see her. Sheeta?
What will the diversion be? He called softly.

Then he heard footsteps behind him.

It was Queen Hepsha's youngest sister Nala. She came looking for his young guard Himba, they were in love.

"Who are you talking to?" Nala asked curiously. " Just talking to myself
as I do my work." Grandpa lied.
"Oh,"she said, he could see the disappointment on her face. He knew she
was looking for Himba. But he did not want to tell her that Himba was out
in the bushes doubled over with a stomach ache. No need to get his guard
mad at him. Just then a loud farty sound came from the bushes. Grandpa
quickly said "Excuse me, Old men have gas sometimes."

"This embarrassed the young woman and she abruptly left with out
a word. A few minutes later Himba came out of the nearby bushes.
He was pale and sweaty but looked a little better.
"Thank you,for not telling her where I was and for taking the blame
for my embarrassing gas." He smiled a large white toothy smile to Herb.
"I will pay you back the favor someday when you need it." Himba promised.
"Thank you Himba, she is in love with you, do you know that?" Grandpa
Herb asked the young warrior and continued his work in the garden.

"Do you really think so?" Himba asked with a large smile. "I love her to,
I want to marry her, but the Queen would never approve of the match."
Himba said disappointed.
"Love will always find a way Himba," Grandpa told him.

The next day I had a chance to speak with Coral and let her know
I had spoken with Sheeta last night, that our freedom would happen
when the baby was born and to watch for a diversion. Coral gave a small
smile of hope at the information. Then she heard her mistress calling and
quickly went back to work.
"I was very worried about Coral, being a slave was breaking her spirit. I
could see her dying daily. We had to escape soon!

The queen did not come to seduce me anymore but I was still locked
up and forced to work as a slave. However,Queen Hepsha came to visit
once in awhile so I could see how our child was growing inside of her.
A small hope of compassion from her grew in my heart. Maybe she really
would let Coral and I go when her son was born.

One day the queen came to visit me, I could tell there was something
she wanted to tell me. I could swear she was going to tell me that Coral
and I could leave. But before she could speak one word, she gave out
a loud cry and her water broke right in my prison cell.

In the same room that our son was conceived he would also be born.

"Oh!" she cried in agony with the labor pains of her first born child.

I will never touch a man again!" she moaned in the pains of childbirth.

Queen Hepsha finally gave birth to a large healthy baby boy. As soon as
the first cry was heard from the newborn babe. A great cheer could be
heard through out the village. Drums started to beat and people started
to dance and celebrate the birth of the prophesy child.

.......To be continued......

I have a baby brother???
