The night of the party Elinor was nervous, it was her first real party especially in this new city. Sarah had called to tell her the car would pick them up a few streets away from Elinors house, that way no parents to worry about what time they got back etc.

When Elinor arrived at the spot they were to meet Sarah and her friend Amy were already waiting for her. Elinor wondered how they were to get to the party, or even where the party was being held. So far she still knew nothing.

Finally a car pulled up, it was a 2 year old model that Elinor recognised as belonging to Sarah's long time boyfriend Drew. Sure enough Drew stepped out of the car to greet the three girls and then waited as first Amy, then Sarah and finally Elinor herself got into the car.

"Hi Eli, wait til you see where the party is being held. It's going to be a real blast!"

It was the first time Drew had really spoken to her and she was so nervous that she failed to notice the look and sly smile that passed between Sarah and Amy. The other two girls had insisted that Elinor sit in the front with Drew whilst they took up the back seat.
